Join me – https://www.udemy.com/yin-yoga-for-chakra-balance-healing/ A Yin practice for the heart and lung meridians to bring balance to these areas. If you have been feeling sad, congested, constricted in the chest and upper shoulders, this practice can bring balance and openness to these areas. Allow your breath to heal and soothe these areas. Enjoy!

Props needed: 1 blanket (or get one here: http://amzn.to/2v0U0eh) or beach/large bath towel. Enjoy!

Meridians: Heart/Small Intestines, Lungs/Large Intestines

In Yin Yoga we hold poses passively without muscle engagement to mobilize and strengthen the connective tissue, joints, ligaments and bones. We hold these poses for 1-8 minutes and while this can be challenging at times, try to settle in, breath and commit to the stillness. Always connect with your body and breath and come into the pose slowly, to approximately 2/3 of your maximum depth, being mindfully aware of all the sensations.

Thank you for practicing with me today and I look forward to practicing with you again very soon!
Peace & Namaste,
Aprille

  1. Thank you! The pose lying on the side was really soothing. I replaced the second day session through this shorter one. Today, it was more difficult for me to bear the holding of the pose, maybe it would be good to add some sports tomorrow or a more vivid yoga practice. 🙂

  2. I'm just getting over pneumonia. I am going to do this practice as my getting back into the swing of things/taking better care of myself.
I'm not sure about my energy levels just yet and a yin yoga routine is a perfect start!
    Thank you

  3. Thanks for this practice again this morning Aprille. The side bends were wonderful, especially before the twist. The second reclined twist released all the way up into my neck. This practice allowed me to witness that virus may finally have cleared from my chest! Wahoo! xo Melissa

  4. Thank you for this physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically and spiritually heart healing practice Aprille 🙂 I feel much more grounded and centered after this practice. It was a lovely practice this evening pre-meditation before bed. With gratitude, Melissa
