  1. THANK YOU DR. ALAN..amazing and so simple. i have had recurring vertigo symptoms for years and always went to emergency or to a DR. or physical therapist trained in the Epley maneuver. NOW, thanks to you i can do it at home, along with using these points. AND, the piece that was missing from all the doctors and P.T.s was crucial ! when you emphasized sleeping in a sitting position with neck brace/pillows etc. for 2 days before the crystals re stabilize. THEN, i saw one of your charts that mentioned doing the epley 2 or 3 times before going to bed. You didn't actually say to do this..but now I see how all these suggestions combined will help greatly in maintaining balance. GOD Bless you for your service, focus and contribution to humanity!! BIG Aloha Hugs from Hawaii.

  2. Twice lately I have felt nauseated when I lie down on my back and crawl under my vehicle to work on it. I don't get claustrophobia in tight spaces. When I get up I'm not dizzy but feel nauseated for an hour or two. This has never happened before now. My doctor said I didn't have an ear infection. Your thoughts and remedies

  3. Hi Dr. Mandell, I have degeneration in the spine and sometimes when I am sitting down my neck will pull to one side. Would this be the scalenes doing this? Doctors can not give me an answer…Thankyou

  4. i had this Vertigo since last year and its Horrible, i wish i could just go back to younger me when i didn't have any problem.. THANK YOU! Dr. Mandell.. (from Baguio City Philippines)

  5. About 4 years ago I got vertigo and I had no idea what was going on I thought maybe I was dying. They rushed me to the hospital because no one knew that was around me the symptoms I was trying to explain that what's happening to me.

My experience at the hospital was being raised super fast then slammed down then raised up and slammed down constantly on the medical bed with the devices they had and they would take my blood pressure every time.

The thing that had them very stumped is that my blood pressure was perfectly fine every single time even though I was experiencing obvious vertigo. When they would slam me down and pull me up I finally yelled stop you are you making me feel like my body spinning all over the place and I'm going to jump up to the ceiling it was the oddest feeling. Like being drunk but only drunk on one side of your head.

They determined it had nothing to do with my brain. They think or said it was possible since I just got over double ear infections that could have caused it. So they gave me what was called meclizine or what you can get over the counter which is the same thing just not as potent but it's called antivert. Sometimes the medication will lessen it and other times it doesn't do anything except make you so tired you can't function and you go to sleep. Generally what ends up waking me is I rolled over to the side that the vertigo was affecting.

My complete point is I've tried these two pressure points, and mentally it felt like it was helping but I don't know yet so I will try again but I have several medical issues so I don't know if that could be causing more problems then not. But I want to thank you for putting this video up. Thank you again.

  6. Dr mandell I suffered with vertigo for 2 months; it started April 6 2019. From when it started I experienced symptoms like the world tilting,Sweating, shaking, abnormal heart rates, increase in heart rate, difficulty walking, difficulty standing, digestive system messed up, vision disturbance, face and head pulsating like a throbbing sensation. I’ve done blood checks, mri, ekg, etc everything was normal. I did some extensive research. Fast forward to today I’m at 75%-80%. What I’ve did and currently doing is physical therapy which I started 2 weeks ago. I’m also waiting for my vitamin levels to come back for next week. But the neck stretches and eye exercises has been beneficial for me. Rn I’m still dealing with slight vision disturbance such as walking into stores like cvs target etc, occasionally see things tilted, Focusing on an item up close messes with my vision. It gives me an off balance sensation. Now with walking I’m still dealing with off balance sensations but don’t really feel the need to urgently sit down. Standing has gotten better I’m just feeling a slightly off balance sensation. Oh left something out too looking down at my phone used to severely make me feel like I’m but to loose my balance. I know with the power of the trust in God I can beat this vertigo thing and you guys too. And with the trust of Dr mandell I will continue your exercises. Thank you. You have giving me hope.
