Most New Year’s Resolutions will hype you up, which drains energy. In the next year and decade, try to feel clinging, and how it drains energy needlessly. Focus on the breath and notice how the attention span is pushing the breath needlessly. The attention span is also doing this wherever it is aimed at, including in the imagination.   1. Try to catch the mind pushing and pulling the breath needlessly, and relax the breath, body and mind. Let the breath move naturally throughout the day. The remainder of needless tension can be reduced by developing skills to be READY or PREPARED for tasks.
